Commting on BA A320 fleet
Hi All,
Would anyone care to comment on experiences commuting from mainland Europe to LHR on the BA A320 fleet? Is it manageable?
Thanks,
FT

FT, quite a few people do it and have no problem with it at all.
One thing to watch for is to have an 'alternative' up your sleeve for such times as these where staff travel is withdrawn (albeit not for commuting flight crew at the mo, I believe).
Always have a 'bolt hole' in the form of a B&B for LHR nightstops.
The other fly in the ointment is the company stipulation of 2 hours to main base. Although this is only a recommendation they do factor it in when rostering or ....god forbid..... force drafting. If your late due to the orbital car park then they are quite accomodating. Far less so if you miss your flight from europe.
Lots of the Dutch guys have very good relations with KLM for this very reason
Good luck
