help with a decision
I need help with a decision.
I am hired onto a 135 cargo-single turbine- but have not started training(1 year contract or pay $3500). I currently work in a part 91 all multi-turbine but it is 6 month contract on then nothing for 6 months accept a few flights here and there. I have recieved a call from continental express to update my resume and have talked to a close friend that works for them and says that I should "expect a call for an interview" within about 2 weeks. I have filled out a interview packet with ASA but heard nothing from them and from another close friend said they have halted hiring due to recent changes(they were bought or something)
training for the 135 starts in 1 week.
Should I sign a year contract ?
should I wait for an regional airline to call ?
should I just stick to the 6 month on off part 91?
Help!

The Cooler King
I know a guy who just came back for an interview with Continental Express.
They told him on the spot that he wasn't hired. They hired two of his colleagues though.
He didn't really expect to get it as he only has about 250 hours on the CRJ.
But he said that they are still actively hiring now.
Am new to this business, and can't really give you any advice on your decision but I thought that I'd let you know what I knew about Continental.
Good luck with whatever you decide.
