Constant speed DU - I´m to bored to read the full thread on this one...just checked the last ones.... So not really getting in to the whole discussion here...BUT 60-70 sectors!!! Are you serious??! I've never done more than 15 days (a lot of the time about 12) and about 45 sectors...
Not saying you are wrong....but that´s how it is for me...

Like you im too bored to read the full thing , i can assure you that lots of pilots in EZY are doing at least 60 sectors per month .

Im from "UP NORTH" like you ; have not done less than 75 sectors a month for the last 6 months .Some months more than 85 and even in months with leave ive been flogged to death and still managed to keep my average up.

Roughly 700 hours , 720 sectors per annum for the anual total.

As I have alluded to before, easyJet is effectively several separate airlines within an airline, depending on where you are based. I am LGW-based and there is no pilot there doing anything like 60+ sectors. I can only assume that you guys up North are doing loads of very, very short sectors. My roster for next month has 42 sectors, 90 block hours and 14 working days.

Hi everyone, have to agree to Norman's different base different airline theory. i am up north and can vouch for the 60 sector stuff, but not too many are short ones. 60 sectors this month with 100+ hours, 160+ duty hours with 3 contactable and 3 standby duties rostered. Good thing it is on the non fatiguing new roster

I am not familiar with T-Fly or where you fly. Can you please elaborate and also which type of plane do you fly. Sounds like you enjoy it very much. Good for you. Cheers! (is that Thompsonfly out of Coventry on the 735?)

Agree with the above although you all sound a little low on the hours - what are you doing with all your spare time? Up North seems to do the most flying hours, I'm constantly rolling on 800 - 900hrs over 12 months. The loss of a block of leave has meant 'high' days rostered to keep the hours down.

I have just checked and my rolling 12 month total is 472 hours although my rolling 28 day total is 62 hours. My 2005 total thus far is 170 hours, with a busy April in the offing. We have converted to the Airbus at Gatwick and there has been a marked lack of work over the winter due to training commitments. That is all changing and the summer looks pretty busy. As I say, we are many airlines within one big organisation!

I've done 225 hours already in 2005. Looks like I'm well on course for the big 900 by about October once the Summer flogging is over.

As to you blokes grabbing the moral high ground in Scotland - it's all very well saying you do 60-70 sectors a month, but if you're working 8-hour days it's not really that bad is it? I gather that the worst duty out of GLA is the STN split. Well add another couple of duty hours to that and your into the LPL/LTN ball park mates!
