I ride my Harley for My enjoyment...Thai girls have too much common sense to be impressed by a motorcycle..would be really neat if TCASTED could make an accurate post..'course knowing him, doubt that to be possible...
to comment on 411A's query..if and only if TCASTED is who we all here suspect him to be he had a beef in Thailand, Iceland, and lots of other "lands" as well...maybe he should try Disneyland
and yes try my best to take care of my crews, as they always seem to be looking after all of us..in the professional sense of course! Never piss of anybody who may have to drag your hiney out of a burning wreck that odds are you created in the first place!

None of you have addressed the facts of the situation at Gulf Air.
There simply is no legitimate union or pilot association or cabin attendant union or association that is anything other than a token gesture and is utterly powerless.
Gulf Air managment treats its people in the worst possible way. I note that neither of you answered the fact that Gulf Air makes its pilots crawl out of bed every single day they are sick and attend the doctors office to get a sick note in order to be paid(?).
My post re the the treatment of the Thai girls is absolutely correct.
The cabin crew are treated even worse than the pilots at Gulf Air.
I would urge any pilot or flight attendant who has another option, NOT to go to Gulf Air.
Time will tell......

I am not saying GF/GT are perfect places (once again).
But you sir, need to take your beef elsewhere.
I am sure that potential GF/GT wannabes have all the info they need to make there own decision regarding joining.

Don't be shy, the media pays well for well-placed sources such as yourself, and you must have been well-informed to get that sort of information.
On the other hand, are we to assume that the absence of evidence will soon result in an apology???

TCASTED doesn't really matter who you are, don't really care GF/GT is not utopia, as is no other airline these days, but it has a lot of good things to offer, and is competitive as far as pay and benefits go, with other carriers here..future? Your guess is as good as anybody's but GF's future is much brighter now, than it has been for a decade or so, thanks to some forward looking managment..so I go to work and go home, and see what transpires..don't know of any flight deck who got their week bonus as of yet supposed to be this month anyway TCASTED, do yourself a favor, and research your "facts" a bit more before posting would boost your credibility (if you still have any) a whole lot!

just a small input. The GF training dept are running so many command courses its stretching them to the limits. if it continues time to command will be reduced to maybe 4 or 5 years. Its all good news for the FOs. Theres a growing feeling amongst the FO community that GF is becoming a good place to be. I don't know who tcasted is and i don't care. people here are hopeful now. we have some guys who are turning down emirates and the like to stay here. I'm not going anywhere.
