A320 PAX reding lights

Noticed that after takeoff, the PAX reading lights reset button on the flight attendant panel becomes unavailable, any idea how to reset them in flight other than a CIDS RESET?

The R/L SET and R/L RESET buttons are inhibited in flight. The only way to switch them off is to do it row-by-row on the Seat Setting page. I’ve often wondered why those options are only enabled on the ground?

Because they're a test feature, not a flight attendant's convenience feature.

Qatar airways uses them for boarding, and switches all of them off before takeoff. Complete darkness.
