White trail coming out from the tail of an A 330?!

Hello Guys,

Today an A330 from Cathay Pacific overtook us at FL 360. While he was going (like a Boeing), I could notice a white trail coming out from the tail slightly on the left hand side of his butt. The trail was intermittent.. It last like 30 seconds then went away.. Any explanation? I know on the A 320 family the water used in the lavatory and galley are drained outside the airplane.. Not sure about the A 330. Could it be that?

Here's below the photo of the plane and his trail. Please click on it to make it full size.

Thank you.

Mind control dust, of course.

A mini chemtrail perhaps? I suspect that your idea of it being waste water is what it was - it gets dumped overboard, unlike the toilet flush water that gets retained in tanks.

How slow can you go?

Now that IS newsworthy, although probably a bit embarrassing.

I was on the Baby Bus ( A 319) at M.79. Being overtaken by the big boys is an everyday thing on those busy airways. The other way around would be very embarrassing.

Pineteam, I thought as much, but couldn't resist the dig. I am pleased to see that you weren't too offended.

Take care.

Mind control spray used against pilots at lower flight levels.

Not just the water from the drain goes down there on CX flights. Next time one passes over you check out the coffee/red wine/noodle soup stain under the belly.
