P/RST - Boeing Annunciators

OK - I stare at these three lights for 4 hours a day but I suddenly realise that I don't know what the initials/code stand for. I know what the lights on/flashing mean but I can't find what the letters mean. Is it as simple as Press Reset??

Thanks

LC

If that's A/P A/T FMC then yes but I guess you usually cancel with the A/P disconnect sw.

Yes - I do mean AP AT and FMC (737NG) - but the cancelling is actually (generally) done by pressing the AP Disengage, AT Disengage a second time or acknowledging the message in the FMC....

Usually it is, but you can do it for those lights as well if you push them directly. In case of an FMC message you will still have the CDU Message Lights on.
