un pressurized flight

Hi,
What do you think about.....

We are in flight....a 90 min flight and at the mid point both pack fail..... do you continue your flight without packs descending to lower altitude?

A descent is, of ocurse required. The outcome then depends on terrain, if you can't get down to and cruise at 10,000 feet to your destination because of an intervening mountain range a diversion may be neccesary. Also keep an eye on the fuel, an older, low-bypass ratio aircraft that was dispatched without an alternate and minimum reserves might not have a comfortable fuel level after an enery wasting emergency descent procedure followed by prolonged low altitude cruise. It's up to the commander.
