BA Connect 146

Hi,

I start with BA Connect next month on the 146. Just wondering if they've been retrofitted with EFIS or if they're still clockwork.

Also I'm assuming it's a common type rating for the 146 and RJ100 with difference training, is this correct?

Cheers.

Thanks Bral,

So there's a 300 in INV and I know there's a 100 in IOM because that's where I'm off. That leaves the 2 x 200's are they in MAN?

I've also been told there's a two year freeze on type for new joiners does that include a move from 146 to RJ or are they classed as the same fleet?

Finally got someone to take that position. Assuming it's an F/O position. Best of luck, I'm sure you'll love it.

I hope they don't hold the freeze on you.

Great if your a new guy to the industry or you live in the Isle of Mann.

I do know that the 146 on the IOM is not the most advanced. 1 of the first out of the factory.

Everything about Conair is indeed frightfully common.....

But enjoy your job - good luck!

Sounds like a cheap dig at BA Connect. Didn't they offer you a job or are you just a disgruntled passenger? Either way, I fail to see how the above posts describe the company as "frightfully common".
