IAE V2500-A1/5 verses CFM56-5A/B

Having flown both the IAE A1 / 5 and CFM 56 B's I would any day go for the latter as they are quieter and more feul efficient .
Having more power on the 56 Fans is an added bonus as well although most times save for a few fields we fly to you have to use TOGA other wise its always FLEX . . . having said that with either or of these settings the CFM's climb away smoothly as apposed to the their IAE counter parts .
As far as the Climb cruise performance goes both are almost identical in terms performance . . . .
