Chinook with underslung load.

The usual fare in this corner of Essex are SAR Sea Kings and Apaches ex Wattisham so it was a surprise to see a Chinook with an underslung load transit South of here in a Harwich/Felixstowe direction. It passed eastbound at 1535 and returned at 1605 heading in the general direction of London.Does anybody have any idea what it was up to.
Colin.
