Tony Blair's Global Express.

Yesterday's Sunday Telegraph carried an article about the aircraft used by Tony Blair and contains a quote from a spotter's forum.

I am trying to find the original site, but searches using the exact phrase only come up with the ST article itself and an appearance or two in non-aviation websites.

The ST is behind a paywall, but I think that a small number of articles are available before access becomes chargeable.

Sunday Telegraph

If anyone can point me in the direction of the spotter's site, I would be grateful.

Thanks,

Can't help with the spotters' link, but the identity of the aircraft in question is pretty common knowledge:

Thanks for that Dave, I'm grateful to you.

I am interested in finding out which spotters' forum they viewed as the members would appear to be well informed and probably in a position to help with other topics.

For instance, I've been keen to see a BA A380 and a few searches of aviation boards, and a bit of well informed guesswork, allowed me to see BA268 yesterday afternoon. It had the good grace to do a couple of circuits of the Bovingdon hold as well!

From a Google search for G-CEYL Bangkok "Tony Bliar", I gather the origin of the quote might be this site:

Thanks, hvogt, you're a scholar and a gentleman!

I always knew that if I asked the right question, in the right place, I'd get the right answer.

On the contrary, it goes a long way, quickly. The clue's in the name.
