KAL Question
Gents,
I've got a question and Any help would be highly Appreciated.
I'm considering a Move to KAL, 777 DEC. I'm a green card holder and intend to live in the US. Any of you know how will I be affected regarding US Taxes. Any way "Around it"
Thank you and Regards.

The only way I know of to get the foreign income exclusion is to either become a bonafide resident of a foreign country for an entire tax year, or else spend the required days overseas to meet the requirement. You don't meet either requirement.

Seek help from a professional in terms of taxes, never ask in a pilots forum because that is a such a complicated issue that most of the time you will get a wrong answer. Make sure that you talk to a tax lawyer that is knowledgable about expat taxes, you are not a US citizen but rather a green card holder, your situation is different since there is also the issue of your tax liability in your country of citizenship, besides the fact that you wouldn't even be filing under the expat exception but rather the non double taxation requirements. ![Thumb](https://www.pprune.org/images/smilies/thumbs.gif)
Good luck!
