Lion Air 747-400s
Saw a recent picture of a Lion Air 744 at Jakarta. I think I read that the 400 primarily serves Saudi Arabia - could be wrong. Questions for those in the know:
1. How many 747-400s does Lion Air operate? Plans to buy more?
2. Where else beyond Saudi Arabia do they fly?
3. How many crews assigned to the 400? I presume they are senior crews.
4. Are the 747-400 pilots Indonesian or do they use Expats?
5. Has Lion Air discussed longer-term longhaul plans and potential fleet types (will they keep the 400s or will they be replaced) or will they likely remain a very, very large regional player?
PMs also welcome.

They have 2 x 747-400's they only fly to and from SA.
For a period of time EagleJet were selling time as both Captain and First Officer flying Lions 747's, so if that's what you call "senior" pilots
They can't look at other long haul routes really as they are well and truly banned from other countries and are not doing anything to improve.
Even recently failing the almost cakewalk IOSA audit.
