Executive aviation in Japan
Hi guys I was wondering if anyone has any idea/experience about bizjets (or about any big company like netjets) with a base/branch in Japan.
I know it' s difficult already to join a scheduled airline for a foreigner (given they have to sponsor you for the conversion to the Japanese licences) but I' d like to know what the situation is for executive. Someone can share info on the matter, or just advise me to forget it?
Any opinions appreciated.
Thanks

Flying a Japanese reg A/C you will need a JCAB ticket. Hard to get at the best of times. Other (e.g. N) Reg, obviously not the same issue.
There is very little biz jet aviation in Japan and it is a tough nut to crack. Suggest you look elsewhere unless you have a) Plenty of Bizjet time b)The appropriate rating c) A JCAB ticket.
I have c) out of the above and plenty of Jet time but when I was living there I couldn't get any work.
