Dr M - MAS's biggest obstacle to success?
Yet ANOTHER (two hour) speech by Malaysia's Prime Minister last Thursday 22nd June, blaming the "foreigners who once colonised us, who have done nothing to help us...have no good intentions...hate Malaysia, especially the current leadership...wish us to become their puppet state..blah, blah, blah".
It would appear that not content with effectively "gutting" MAS by the appointment of TR, Dr M now wants to remove the scales of the big fish, by declaring over and over again, his HATRED of whites. By promoting this racist campaign, Malaysia's mouthpiece gives the impression that ALL Malaysians would be supported by taking a similar stance.
I for one, am certainly not inclined to travel, nor recommend MAS to any of my friends for travel, (let alone contemplate a vacation in "Malaysia - truly Asia") if I feel there's going to be this same feeling of racist hatred being promoted amongst MAS crews by Malaysia's Dr M!

KM my limited interactions with Malaysians seem to indicate otherwise. I think it would take a lot more than the silly rantings of an old idiotic politician whos corruption is well known and whos stuck in a colonial time-warp, to change there attitudes.
The ordinary Malaysians themselves dont appear to me to be rabidley anti-Western or racist (on the outside anyway), only the government. Theyve been pretty hospitable every time Ive overnighted in Subung (KL) and Borneo (Kuching and K. Kinablau).
If they do hate us white trash then they are pretty damn good at covering it up!
