Hi Rob,
I would also like to go and work in Asia, preferably Thailand. The downside for us trying to get these jobs, are that they have quite a lot of interest from university graduates applying for the sponsorships on offer. Unless you can get a contract job the chances are fairly slim. Might be worth pitching up at the office to see if that can open any doors. Good luck, keep me posted,
Rgds.

You have to know someone on the inside....... etc etc
It's not what you know but who you know.......
That's how it works here.

Bangkok Airways is via agencies only.
THAI is only for locals... one you may try is Orient Thai and Thai Air Asia... they hire foreign pilots.

I hate to be a party pooper. For those who are new to the Asian aviation industries especially in Thailand (Expats);

Be it BKK Air, Orient Thai, Phuket Air etc...

If you are not typed on the aircraft in their fleet, preferably in the left seat, you need not apply!

It's harsh but it's the reality. Yes, if you know someone on the inside helps but unless you have the prerequisite then all he can do is buy you a beer.
