The Transition Training programme - a 5 week programme for applicants with an ICAO ATPL, with a minimum of 1500 hours total time, including 500 hours multi-engine time on aircraft with a MTOW greater than 2000kg. |
HKID is only a necessity for the ab-Initio program.

Did any expats who applied for AE program get a call for interview?
|
I applied back in December I got no calls as yet. I don't think I have the money to go to Hong Kong if I get called.
|
I applied late December for the transition program and I have been invited for an interview in Feb. Any interview tips anyone has would be great.

Interesting with 1800 hours I received no e-mail. Must be my location.

Interesting with 1800 hours I received no e-mail. Must be my location. At 1800 hours they'd probably be looking for someone who was capable of applying for TT. That's just my guess anyway. |
@FLGOFF
To apply for TT you need a Full ATPL.Even if you have 2000 hours and don't have 500 hours multicrew you arent eligible for a full ATPL.Atleast thats what its like in the UK. |

I applied when I had 300. Since then, I have 1050 tt. 350 ME. I would hope they wouldn't be waiting around for an ATP.
|
Also,
Does my FAA written suffice as meeting passes in atpl subjects? |
I don't think so.
Passing one atp exam cannot be equal to passing 14 different atpl exams in Europe/Middle east/Asia.After you get a full FAA ATP its the same as any other ICAO ATPL. |
Pilot4eva,
Thanks. Makes sense. I had it as completed on my application, but I went back and changed that to be safe. |
Anyone know of any recent interviewees going through the process? I know it has just started and are currently interviewing a number of TT guys.
Any recent info would be brilliant. S |
Does anyone of you know if there are two different application forms for Advanced Entry and Cadet Program?
Thanks! |
