fish Hiring environment for new Pilots around SEA.

Hello everyone,
I'm an 150-hour CPL holder from Australia about to undergo my ME/IR training and have started looking for some entry level positions.
Does anyone have any insight into the hiring process for jobs around Asia? Would companies even bother hiring an Australian that only speaks English/basic Chinese or am I just wasting my time?
Have seen some incredible flying around Indonesia and Vietnam and am hooked.
