Bit harsh - the founders put in a lot of effort and some cash - they ran it for 15 years -. TBH I don't think Internet Brands are the worst people who could have taken it over - they seem to leave a lot of the day to day stuff to the Mods (god Bless them!!)

FWIW I did not read any criticism to the former owners. I sold a company I owned also in the past and, let's just say the new owner's promises changed after the agreement ran out (I got my money, but I personally think they buggered up the company but that's not my "business" after).

It can also be the perceived remoteness and corporatisation of the site/brand by its new owners, versus the closer more hands-on feeling that the previous owners gave with their baby.
