About 4 years ago I was flying helicopters in Aruba for a US company. Local regs required me to get an Arubian (temporary/renewable) license, based on my FAA license.
I's been a few years now and I still have that Arubian (JAR) license somewhere and I was wondering if it could be of any help in order to convert my FAA Helicopter license to JAR.
Anybody in the know?
Thanks!

Aruba is not a member of the JAA (JAR requirements!).

Maybe Aruba is member of ICAO and you got a ICAO license out of the FAA / Aruban conversion. Or is Aruba aviation governed by the Dutch CAA. Because the Netherlands only implemented the JAR-FCL 2 regs for helicopter licensing in 2003.
Does your licence say anywhere "Joint aviation authorities"?

It's been a while, but I am pretty sure the actual licence had some kind of Dutch logo in the front.
I will be out for a week, but I'll check and get back to you As soon as I am home.
