407 v B206L

Hi,
I was wondering if any of you have flown both the 407 & L3/L4 Longranger and what were the differences ie payload, range, etc.
Can one fly the 407 with six pax and still have some range?
What about the reliability of the 407? Any posts/advice would be most appreciated. M/V

With a few hundred hours in the L series and just a few hours in the 407, I can say from the aspect of tourists and Charters that the difference is Day and Night.
Now that Bell has most of the bugs out of the 407 I think its going to be a fine Aircraft in the single category.
Its faster, hauls more without loss of power and is a bit more comfortable with the four bladed system. (providing all are tracked)
In comparing prices for a new L4 and a 407 based on the reults in time saved on Charters. I think more folks will opt for the 407......
My 2 cents
