High price of Agusta A109E parts

My Agusta A109E has done 1,200 hours and I’ve owned it since new.

Recently I have been informed by the maintenance organisation I need 4 x M/R dampers due to 600 hour TBO requirements. The quoted price is $33,200 AUD each plus GST making a total figure of $135,624.60 AUD, plus installation. That total figure takes into account a “trade in” of the old units for a massive $2,376 each.

Does anyone else have any experience of such high costs? Is there any way around this?

Open a ticket with Mecaer MRO - https://css.mecaer.com/

They made them in the first place and seem to be an MRO - guessing the price you have is from Leonardo.

Post here if you get a result.
