How much household rubbish and excrement did the 30 people contribute to the problem?
Seems like the Law of Diminishing Returns has to be considered while discussing this.

VF. How many times do I have to tell you. Sherpa (in) Training doesn't count when I can see ocean in the background. Now, get back up into low Earth orbit where you belong!
From memory performance nd particularly load carrying was significantly improved at sea level but unfortunately you had to acclimitise going up the hill!

IIMC? Never....even the Ducks were walking
G'day GrayHorizonsHeli..............looooong story, but the short version is an acclaimed Mountain Pilot after an altercation with Sherpa's refusing to refuel Him, a plastic 20ltr jerry can went up through the MR blades whilst at ground-idle. 1 MR Blade had begun to de-laminate, BUT the Pilot flew like that anyways. Vibration was horrendous, 2 months later there was an in-flight starflex failure leading to a crash with only minor injuries. Machine was totaled

Morning SRFred.................exactly my sentiments! I have noticed it takes around 3-4weeks to loose the acclimatization O2 bonus You gain when back down at sea level

I'm not sure how serious the anti-icing would be....anti-icing consumes power, and he needs every foot-lb of torque (or whatever those Frenchy instruments indicate) he can squeeze out of it. He would probably choose to stay out of icing conditions. My guess, he's got electric heating on the pitot tubes, and electric and/or bleed air anti-ice on the engines. Oops, I meant engine. But, I'm sure VF will be on here sooner or later to provide a definitive answer.
