Hey VF. Just been watching "Everest Rescue" on cable TV here in Bangkok. First episode and I missed part of it as well, but without giving away family secrets what do you know about the program?
Jason the pilot features a lot, but a couple of local boys doing a good job, including an impromptu medivac. (no idea where the Heidata News bit comes from)

Hi Farang,
I too am recording Everest rescue. Im good friends with VF and fortunately for him he's not involved.
The series gives an amazing insight to high altitude flying but its typical Foxtel or National geographic sensationalism with similar rhetoric to other aviation programs they cover.
Apart from the rubbish its very entertaining and the scenery is just wow!....and gives me a better appreciation for where my buddy works.
