7 March 2012:
The Commission authorises France and Italy to grant aid to eurocopter and Augusta Westland to support the development of a new generation of civil helicopters.

Eurocopter
This relates to the X4 as an extension of an existing scheme (case N395/2010) Euro 143m repayable advance repayabl when defined sales targets are met.

Augusta Westland
Euro 279m zero-interest loan repayable over 19 years to fund industrial research and experimental development (case N101/2008). This relates to the AW69 project.

IS THIS A JOKE?!? EADS receives state aid in undisclosed amounts since years to get new products on the market!!! Why do you think they fare so much better than anyone else?
