Those were big in Germany back in about 1980. The Germans loved RC models, and the lawnmowers were at every airshow I saw, along with some humongous jet models.

There was a life sized witch on a broomstick and a giant airmail letter flying in northern Germany in the early 1980s, as well as lots of grasscutters. All great fun!
