How to start out\ Training in the states
Hello Everyone
I recently went to san francisco were I had an intro helicopter flight in a RR22 first time i'd ever set foot in a chopper and it was an amazing experience, I want to fly!.
Ive been looking into learning in the states because by the looks of things its cheaper and it would be good to get out of England( london).
Ive been checking out specialized helicopters, civic, Bristow.
Basically spending this amount of money is a huge deal and if i make the push I have to make this my career( Obviously)
Can someone point me in the right direction, tell me their thoughts on the idea that it would be better to do an a commercial licence in the states?
The job opportunities out there?
Anyone who has done their licence out there let me know about availibility of jobs instructing, how to build up your experience/hours after passing commercial?
What schools are best?
Thanks Everyone

Welcome to Rotorheads, Harry.
Your first stop should be here:
So you want to be a Helicopter Pilot...
Then, get used to how the 'search' function works. You'll be using it a lot.
If you've still got any questions after reading that lot, fire away!![Smilie](https://www.pprune.org/images/smilies/smile.gif)
PS Senior Pilot - Any chance of making that thread a sticky again, please?

hstewart,
Welcome to Rotorheads, you should find plenty of help here: but try the search facility first![Thumb](https://www.pprune.org/images/smilies/thumbs.gif)
