hI 407 Driver:

Those reverse scoops look rather large for a JRIII; are they a special mode?

Yes, specially designed high output scoops, polished and ported, NASA designed, very very expensive, but they do boost the 206 power to never-seen-before levels.

OK, I'll cut the , Actually, they are just some common old reverse scoops, very common in Canada ( same old ones that I flew with OKanagan back in the 70's anyway?).
You must be referring to those mini- Bell-type deflectors that just cover the front of the inlet?

Same scoops shown again here IHL,

Craig in the flare on short final this afternoon...

Thumbs up Back to the roots ....

My Helicopter, a Bell47G3B1 was flown in the RAAC as XT244.
Has anywere contact to mechanics and/or Pilots who has flown the XT244 in his military time?
I will offer for a exPilot a vacation in switzerland and of course a few hours on this ship.

Thanks for any contact ...

Some pictures from flying the 44 for the police in St. Maarten

Checking out one of the oiltankers west of St. Eustatius.

The helipad at Saba, great little airport.
Seeing the Twin Otters land and take off from here is amazing.

In the St. Eusatius harbor, dropping off medicine to some boat.

Some good views down here!!
