CAAS Warning (not exactly Helicopters .. but .. )
Not only are your photos 'not exactly Helicopters', but they are not Rotorheads Around The World!
Please only post photos of your flying, this is not a spotters thread.

You're right. The deterioration is not quite as severe as the safety visor makes it appear but I should have followed the Brig Gen's example and left my sun visor down.
It was wonderful experience - an hour admiring the spectacular BC scenery from the rear door while the crew completed their training sortie and then an hour flying left seat under the close supervision of the QFI captain.
The RCAF were superb hosts.

Well Done That Man! My Hand Salute to the crew that treated you so well too!
Which you prefer the Huey or the Sea King?
Both are historic aircraft.

fun police
You probably did. It was very short.
The RCAF suspended Sea King ops as a precaution following a ground incident on the night of 15 July 2013. Normal ops resumed on 18 July.
SASless
Huey or the Sea King?
That’s a very tricky one to answer. I had more time to get used to flying the Huey, thanks to your great kindness on that very enjoyable day, but I thoroughly enjoyed flying both and, for me, each was an experience of a lifetime.
I had to present a certificate and make a short speech literally minutes after landing, was very aware that I was grinning but just couldn’t stop. I decided it was best to explain why - in the hope the Squadron wouldn’t think I was a complete buffoon.

I can fully understand the "All Knowing Grin" one can get from such experiences......and please cease your worry....as I have never heard you called a "complete" buffoon. Most folks reckon you have a bit to go yet to earn that title.
Now you have to add some other Icons to your list.....Hughes LOH (think where one of them is....), a Cobra, a Wessex, a Whirlwind, a Skeeter, a Sky Crane.....and of course the Ultimate.....a Chinook.

Found myself back in Armenia a couple of weeks ago.
Garni temple, built in the first century by King Tiridates.
Heading up the gorge.
Geghard Monastry, where the lance used to spear Jesus on the cross was kept for centuries, apparently. Most of the place is carved into solid rock.
Two guys living in a bus in the middle of nowhere. About 7500 msl.
Collision avoidance Armenian style. On the ground in a field so we didn't hit the jet in the distance as it came into land.
Yerevan International Airport. The old Russian terminal is on the left, the new one, a couple of years old on the right.
Some kind of Communist monument.
The highest peak in the Aragats Mountains, 13,419 msl.
Shepherd camp, about 11,000 msl.
Relics of an industrial giant.
Another centuries old monastry.
A cross. Made up of 1070 crosses if I understood correctly.

Miss the formula I girls
BigBlue is lookin' good though. Shouldn't that super expensive camera auto fold up like Lexus wing mirrors or something when you land? The proximity of that Roma gravel to the lens is makin' me nervous.
