Bernouli, you seem to have the Anduki NDB frequency set (top left): an omen perhaps?

212man,
It was my density! That signal from Anduki's stronger than you think! I wonder if I set the NBD for that place in Mexico with the nude chick I'll end up there too? (actually, it's the VHF FM radio and it's set on XX.250MHz but I see where you're coming from)

Thanks, but I can't take the credit for these. They were taken by Chris Harris, one of our Aircrew Paramedics. He used a Canon EOS 350d with Canon EF75-300 Zoom. Despite looking like it has been 'oranged up' it actually came straight off the camera with standard settings. Not bad seeing as he is new to this photography stuff!

Strimmer adventure
I know everyone slates an R22.. but it does the job.. here are some pics of my 6hr trip from Kent to Snowdon and back..
Ideal weather over Snowdon..
Caernarfon Castle
Return Journey.. Kiwi style saddle hopping.
A cool looking R22! (bracing for comebacks)
It was 3hrs flight time each way, stopping in at Welshpool, we stayed at Stables Hotel (in Pooleys) who have a helipad (nice grass field) and top restaurant/bar.. just SE of Caernarfon airport. A recommended area to visit on the rare occasion you get good weather.

Contrast - High , +1
Saturation - High , +1
Sharpness - High , +1
dialed in. Or maybe he does realise it
Hi Bushfiva
Thanks for that, I may have been a little rash saying 'standard settings' but I am pretty sure that he didn't set them for these photo's. That is on the basis I spent half an hour with him explaining the association of 'aperture' to 'depth of field' on the same day. Would those settings make much difference to the colours shown, i have to confess that I am not really very familiar with digital camera technology as I am still a film man!
We went out the next morning and took some more shots, since the sunrise was almost identical. I used the aircraft 'point and shoot camera' and got these results - bit of an arty-farty sort of morning all in all!
Cheers
