It has to be a fake! Look at the trees ... they aren't even bending ... and where are the pitot tube and skid tips? There's no shadow on the rocks!

Actually, being an occasional Photoshop driver ... the trailing edge of the tail looks a bit too crisp, but the rotor blur captures the background appropriately. Who knows?

I'm not sure you can judge by the lighting. The photo is almost certainly taken in bright sunshine, with the sun coming through haze.
eg I took the first of these pics while waiting for sunset on Table Mountain while it was still very sunny.

I've forgotten how much later this one was taken, but it was quite some time as you can tell by the position of the sun.
