Ned's pictures are always a joy to see - he's a top aviation photographer, and one of the finest helicopter photographers in the world - but I know he'd agree with me that all contributions, professional or not, have combined to make this thread the fantastic success it is.
Some of our best pictures might not win a photography competition, but the content can make up for any lack of technical excellence.

The HEMS pictures which follow were posted in response to a request by the Royal Aeronautical Society for pictures to be included in an information programme for schools showing various tasks helicopters can perform.
We were asked asked if we could provide photographs of casevacs from a road or railway accident.
