CAA left hand meet right hand.

Thought the UK community might be amused by this latest from the CAA. My CPL papers came through the post today with the usual wallet, for the princely sum of £216.

Now set aside the issue that I'd expect Florentine leather and gold tooling for that price, it turns out that someone in the CAA has had the bright cost saving idea of printing the license double sided. So you now have to hoick the paper out of the wallet to show your license details. My US license is a rather nice holographic credit card with the Wright brothers on it.

Doh !

HaHaHa. Very good. And presumably you're looking forward to fighting the insurance company who will now claim that since you've defaced your license it's no longer valid.

Punto,

How ungrateful! The CAA wallet with its many spare clear plastic covers is carefully designed for functionality.

For example, it can accommodate....

up to 24 expired medical certificates
122 business cards
a "week-at-a-glance" diary
26 credit cards
the Magna Carta

Explore its functionality, what else could be kept in that dainty wallet?

HiHover asked, "what else could be kept in that dainty wallet?"

A ticket to The New World?
