CHC Nigeria engineer job question.

Does anyone have any info on CHC Nigeria mech jobs? I'm told the pay is outstanding.
I'm aware of conditions and the dangers associated with Nigeria, but is it true that CHC is paying one thousand Canadian dollars per day?
This is the rumor circulating around here.
Any insight is appreciated.

No, sorry-oh, it's just not true, though they have one old, experienced engineer working on a day rate close to 70% of the figure you mention.

If you extend your tour, then you will get just under CDN$1000/day for the extra days. Lots of chances to extend just now, especially if you are a 365 engineer!!
