Cool Calendars for February 2007

February is here already, and a couple more calendars: both from Australia, but I’m always open to shots from around the world

The first is a Vertol 107 touching down at Newcastle Regional Heliport

An air to air shot of an RAN Seahawk flying over Lake George, near Canberra in the ACT. Very dry, the lake is all but indistinguishable from the surrounding paddocks due to the drought

As always, click on the thumbnail to open a higher resolution full picture, then right click to select "Set as Background" - for Windows users, that is

John and BlenderPilot now share the task, doing alternate months.

If you have a picture to suggest for March, I'm sure BP would be very pleased to see it.

It's more difficult than it might seem to find a suitable picture each month - as I found when I used to do it!

Note:
Pictures have to be of a high enough resolution to be displayed at least 1280x1024.

Couple of questions for the uninitiated:
a) are there any airspeed limitations on the 107 with those big bubble windows?
b) how do Colombia manage to keep such elderly aircraft looking so smart?
