Is this the diesel the industry’s been waiting for ?

According to Jane’s, Advanced Propulsion Technologies’ OPOC engine “is said to be so smooth-running that a golf ball can be balanced on a running engine.” The engine is valveless and has no ignition system, reducing parts count, and uses a unique electrically-boosted and controlled turbocharger. The 325 hp version of the donk is currently being developed for Boeing's A-160 Hummingbird UAS.

Is this what Frank R. & co. have been waiting for ?
