Rumour
Any truth in the rumour that the IAA have teamed up with Celtic to operate the helicopter site at the K Club for the Ryder Cup in September. I also heard that because of the restrictions and the COST of landing at the K Club there is an alternative site being set up that may be able to facilitate S61's and large helicopters.
On another note does anyone know why there is a restriction on the number of landings allowed into Ballybrit for the race festival. I am sure that this would lead to a big scramble from all operators to get in before the maximum is reached. It would make more sense if there was no restriction. I am surpirsed that the comercial operators have not campaigned to have this restriction removed.
Is there a restriction on the number of landings into the K Club in September similiar to Galway and if not why isn't there? Is it because it is the IAA operating the K Club site?
