Question FAA CPL(H) CX ride.

Just done my FAA CPL(H) ground school and need an FAA check ride. Can it be done in UK? and if so by whom. A US firm has quoted me US$2390 + the CX ride cost and said I need 10 Hrs of dual. Seems a bit much as I have 1000+ hrs Rotary..any advice?

All you need is 3 hours flying in preperation for the check ride. As for the checkout in the UK, i dont think you can, you have to do it in the states. Only renewals and biannuals can be done in the UK unless im wrong. If you want a cheap place in the states to do it i was flying an R22 for $130 an hour yesterday. Just mail me for the details.
