I'm surprised he didn't feel the weight and imbalance as he lifted off ?! Those Twin squirrels were unstabilised and not exactly flying trucks.

Perhaps he did.....and was offering a free Flying Lesson at no charge.
I would have gone to 10,000 feet to ensure an excellent bang for the buck.

The boy did good with a grip of steel, mind you he was a former ticket collector on the yellow transit taxi’s in Lagos which required him to ride on the outside hanging on for grim death rain or shine….
Riding on the outside, engineer was doing a leak check on a 205 sitting on fixed floats, aircraft had a load of passengers on board going for a quick circuit as a community spirited exercise, pilot forgot about the engineer doing the leak check and took off, came to no harm. Still, no one betters the story of the WAAF Margaret Horton that got a ride around the circuit sitting on the tail of a Spitfire.
Dick Smith tells the tale of when he climbed Balls Pyramid one way, and organised a mate to pick him off the top in a B206.
All OK, 206 in the hover near the top, Dick steps onto the skid and the sudden CG change makes the pilot pull away from the rock, with Dick hanging on grimly 1000' above the oggin.

Am I right in thinking Caverton lost Shell to Bristow but that it's pending a court case as they're suing for breach of contract or some such ?
Anyone have a clue as to what's happening to the Chevron contract ?

Suing as in the Nigerian Court System as compared to a legitimate venue.....I can see some large Brown Envelopes changing hands from the Litigants to the Deciders......just saying.
