3.2.2 Schedule Good, Bad or Ugly?
Our base is currently working a four on four off rotation but we are looking at possibly going to a 3.2.2 rotation. (3-on / 2-off / 2-on/ 3-off / 2-on / 2-off. Some of the benefits could be; every other week is the same with every other weekend off. If you set it to start on a Friday then you could have a three-day weekend every other week. Take two days of vacation get seven off. Pilots won't go postal on the med crew after day six and seven. Anyone out there working this schedule or who has worked this schedule I would like to hear your opinions.

How about a 24 hour on....72 hour off rotation? Works for us....but not EMS.
