CAPT TRI STAR, no I dont and Apologize if I have lead that impression, my explanation was centered around his none understanding of the brief for the machine and the reasons why?
As I suggested to Stefair, in order to make a good Impression, understand the explanation I gave, create a brief that he is comfortable with, and if his TESTER inquires then basically he is able to back it up.
For me, and either of the two chaps I genuinely have the privilege, to have conduct my IFR renewals on such machinery, I brief as:
ANY CRITICAL TO FLT SAFETY EVENT OCCURRING EITHER ON THE GROUND OR IN THE AIR IT IS MY JUDGMENT, I WILL USE ALL THE AIR SPEED BETWEEN RED & BLUE LINE, AND ACCEPT WHAT EVER POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE CLIMB WE GET, IF AIRBORNE AND I ELECT TO LAND, I WILL CHOP POWER TO BOTH,BLOW THE FLAP,& CHECK GEAR, TRIM FOR 500ft /MIN LAND ON OR IN THE VICINITY OF THE RUNWAY, IF YOU FAIL AN ENGINE I MUST HEAR THE WORDS SIMULATED IN A CLEARLY AUDIBLE FASHION, OTHER WISE WE WILL END UP SOMEWHERE EMBARRASSING,ANY ATTEMPT TO TAKE CONTROL I MUST HEAR I HAVE CONTROL, TO WHICH I WILL REPLY, YOU HAVE CONTROL, (BUT DONT ####ING TOUCH ANYTHING ITS MY TOY FOR THE HOUR OR SO I AM PAYING THE CASH)(and two rather happy elder boys stroll out to their toy content with the world)
