Sorry to hijack ......
but make that two !!
I already own and am fully conversant with an E6B. However, I've been reliably informed that the CAA examiners obtain their answers using the CPR-5 ! and of course this is more than twice the cost of the E6B (did I mention I already owned one) !! Typical !!

It's stupid really. Isn't the only time you ever use a manual flight computer when you're flying something that would never go faster than 200kts? Last time I looked, most modern aeroplanes had FMSs in them.
