Just wondering who else received a letter fom Cabair this morn regarding the tests on Weds.. .. .I wanted to get an idea of how many are attending?. .. .Prunner.

the tests: Morrsby tests. Created in WWII by the British Govt to work out if you'd make a good secret agent behind enemy lines.. .. .Included in them was a very simple mechanical aptitude section, some basic maths, a bizaire section were you had to write as many letter 'S's as possible in a minute, then repeat the process, this time writing the letter backwards (i.e. a figure '2'). .. .Strangest of all was been given a series of random straight lines on a page and the task was to add in a couple of lines to make it into something recognisable. One lad came up with a hangman's noose, and another drew a swastika!. .. .I have 150hrs, IMC & Night. Not heard anything back yet (!)
Gin Slinger,. . not me you`re talking about is it ? Every time I did those tests I always got at least 2 gallows in and they always seemed to let me through to the next stage !!!. . Never could pass the final board with them though. Ho Hum.. . cheers.
Got the invite yesterday to the next stage.. .. .See any of you guys on the 9th?. .. .Wobblyprop and Schooner - think I know who you are, PPrunner and Gin Slinger, not so sure.. .. .Negative on the swastika, but I did get three gallows into mine..... .. .TMC
