Cool Astraeus Scheme Feedback??

Wondered if any feedback had been posted since the 5 have been selected? Usual stuff like why some applications stood out etc.. .. .Also why arent the lucky ones crowing? Are you waiting until it becomes reality?. .. .MAX

I think they are still sobering up/getting a crash pad/resigning.. .I am sure once they have passed the sim rides and the line training they will shout it out.

You're absolutely right , guys. I need to grab a couple of hours with Danny to try to formulate some general feedback on the on-line applications. We have given feedback to the candidates who attended interviews and simulator, but there is no way we could go through all 180+ applicants to give individual feedback.. .. .Off the top of my head I would have to say that people who gave short concise and clear answers fared better than those who wrote essays (remember the 30 second rule). Some people used humour, which got our attention, others demonstrated (in their few words) a passion.. .. .We certainly ended up with a diverse group. . .. .I'll try to get Dan to throw some feedback your way.. .. .H

Was that diverse in applications, or diverse in the final 5?. .I read here that 3/5 got in with only 200hr each!!. .What happened to wanting IR experience that you also stated (with evidence of using it outside of just tests)??

Overtemp - the real point about the IR was that an applicant had to have one that was current, i.e. that it wasn't a case that the applicant had passed an IRT, say, 26 months previous and which (obviously) was now not valid.. .. .The biggee for us was that we were recruiting people who (obviously) met all the licensing requirements, but what we really wanted to see was the PERSON themselves and a certain level of, how shall I say, 'sparkle'.
