JAA affected in the next crashes!

soon, airlines will have to deal with low time pilot.if airlines have to hire JAR pilot and no ATP pilots (the ral pilots), it will affect the security in our european sky.
I accuse the JAA with their new ##$%# FCL1 law to place any passenger in danger!
i'm waiting for the next crash.it would be easier to blame your JAR FCL program.

ATPs are now only issued by the JAA
to people with over 500 hrs multi-crew
IN ADDITION to the GA experience you
have..
You would have to pass the exams as well
though... oh and the flight tests..
If you're good you could be with Air France
soon ..
Get the money - you won't change things
in Europe by vitriolic posting here

I wonder what the average European air traveller would prefer - a low time pilot who has gone through the most rigorous training selection process in the world followed by highly intensive training to achieve the toughest licenCe in the world - the UK JAA CPL/IR, or a mad, inchorehent cowboy. mmm, let me think. Roncho, look at FAR 61.153. for an atp you need to be:-
A be at least 23
B be able to write speak and read english
C Be of good moral character

You can't tell me that you honestly think the FAA system is better then the JAR system, and your skills are better than anyones elses. How many hours do you actually have? What company do you work for and how long have you been there?
Well, if we take your grammer into concideration for any job whether it be in the US or EU, I doubt it whether you would pass the language requirement.

I'm not arrogant, our licenCe IS the toughest in the world. How come when an FAA licensed pilot tries to convert to a CAA one it's only worth one less eg) ATP = CPL

However, I see you're from Ireland - you have signed up to the JAA therefore also possess the toughest licenCe in the world. I have the greatest respect for Irish pilots.

Toughest doesn't mean necessarily best. Ok, put down that gun, I don't want troubles...
Ronchonner's style is awful and unrespectful, and I deeply disagree with many of his opinions, but some statements are true: training in Europe, altough excellent, is awfully and artificially expensive. Scarce opportunities to deal with busy airspaces.
Poor opportunities to build up hours(yes, maybe in UK you can instruct, but Uk is the exception: not all other JAA countries give the same opportunities...). The practical training is sometimes too diluted, due to weather in case of UK and other reasons such course organisation elsewere...
And not everybody gets an airline job with 180 or 240 hours. I'm digressing: the toughest licence, sure, and how can you tell it's the best too? Take a look at safety records for examples. Not too much difference between USA and Europe(at all). And according to this (arbitrary) criterium, the best licence should be the Australian one, since Qantas(maybe I'm wrong) is the only company that has never had any accident. Does it work this way so? How can you tell a JAA or UK pilot is better than a FAA one? We've got to warn Delta and A&A and United that they've hired and overpaid a bunch of assholes...Ah, when will they understand and train their pilots in Europe?
