Post Glasses do not mean auto rejection????

What do the airlines mean when they say 'The need to wear glasses does NOT mean automatic rejection' , because if you can pass the JAA Class 1 medical then I presume that your eyesight is good enough. I've not been for an interview or anything similar, but has anyone actually had difficulties on this matter!

For all airlines a class 1 is all you need to have.

However, some CEP programmes have standards which are more strict than the Class 1. Just as an additional filter I suppose.
