That certain Mayday came close to happening to me again in KATANA 332CH 2 days after you went, the bloomin thing when right into the red on the oil temperature just after 500ft from 15, had to make a quick swimg round and into 6.

Thumbs up

Excellent place to go hour building, do make sure that they appreciate that you would like to take the Aircraft all day. They sometimes have people doing only two or three hours a day but if you are serious you can take a nice new warrior away to nice places like Key West etc.

Good fun, not the cheapest rental aircraft in Florida but brand new so you get what you pay for.

Giles can be a bit of a pain but if you make sure that you ask him directly you can usually sort something out if you need something sorted.

Accomodation: the Sherathon !!

Have Fun!!

Wink

Mike, I was there from April 02nd until May 24th (ish). My instructor was Angelo and I flew the warriors.

The highlight of my time had to be flying to Miami to watch a cheerleading contest.

God bless America!!

Hi Guys,

Thought I best chip in on this one as i have spent a good 10 weeks this year at OFT, Its a great place and I had the time of my life out there.

I probably know most of you anyway, I was always at the bar and some how seemed to always be paying.

Great instructors at OFT, Warriors and 172's well worth the money, kissimmee a supurb field and Orlando (MCO) let you fly approaches if they are not too busy. You'll always get a good deal if you haggle with Giles.

Mark, hows the flying going, are you flying from Goodwood or found somewhere else - their prices dont seem too bad.

If any one wants a full low down on OFT drop me a mail.

I was at OFT All of FEB, MAR, MAY.

Safe Flying
