Hi
I am just wondering what it means when airlines say a frozen ATPL? I did try a search for this topic because it has probably been brought up before but it didnt really work!!
Are there any people here who have a frozen ATPL?
What are your opinions about a frozen ATPL?
Thanks a lot!

"Frozen ATPL" is an informal term which seems to be used mainly in the UK. It refers to a CPL/IR, with passes in all the ATPL subjects... in other words, the only thing that you are lacking before getting a full ATPL is the hours requirements.
Hope that helps.
