Bit of advice wanted please.

Hi

I am towards the end of my IR now and have around 5 grand left. The question is do i go for the advanced jst handling course and MCC at CTC or the ATP sim course at OATS...or go for an FI rating? Or do i just do non of the above???

Bit stuck.

Cheers

Well as I am only starting training now I am no expert but I hope to be at your level this time next year and if faced with your dilemma I would do the CTC scheme, your going to have to do the mcc anyway to be employable and it would knock 2 grand of that 4. So do the ctc scheme and then do a little bit of an earner job fly weekends and save to do the FI closer to the summer. You never known if you in that holding pool you may never have to get your instructors rating.
